Students and faculty took the day off from routine to experience art that educates us about social justice, promotes respect for the transcendent dignity of all people, and inspires actions that can repair our world.

Uptown Head Start is closing its doors on Friday, January 27 after decades of serving families in the neighborhood. The children and teachers there have provided a direct service learning opportunity for more than 300 Sacred Heart Schools students and alums, plus SHS teachers and parents. The closing comes as part of all of the Hull House closings in the city.

Grades 3 and 6 helped collect over 375 pairs of shoes that will be donated to Care for Real and Howard Area Community Center.

Motivational speaker Victor Pacini visited SHS Wednesday, January 18 where he gave our middle school students a character development session entitled Mission: "I’m Possible."
