A Network of Schools
“I am lucky to have worked in three different Sacred Heart schools: San Francisco, Seattle and now Chicago. I can't imagine working as an educator in any other environment!”
– Christine Elliot, Head of the Middle School
We are proud to be one of 21 Network of Sacred Schools in the United States today. Each school has its own identity, but shares in the Sacred Heart mission and is guided by similar values. These values are articulated in the Goals and Criteria.
Every Sacred Heart school feels the strength of belonging to the larger Sacred Heart community. The Network provides extraordinary opportunities for professional development, shared programs, and communal reflection for both faculty and students.
Faculty and administrators regularly attend Network conferences where they benefit from the expertise and intellectual resources of their colleagues across the nation. Students participate in Network-wide summer programs, as well as joint service and leadership projects during the school year. Annual Network web casts and teleconferences help us celebrate our connection to one another.
The Network provides a rigorous, on-going evaluation process for schools. Teams of Network educators regularly visit Sacred Heart schools to provide feedback and assistance in each school’s on-going process of strategic planning.
Sacred Heart Schools is part of a network of 21 schools in the United States and more than 150 schools in 32 countries world-wide.
