The Network of Sacred Heart Schools is nationally known for the excellence of its academic programs.

Sacred Heart Schools at Sheridan Road prepare students for life as they progress through the co-educational Kindergarten, to the single-sex Lower and Middle Schools. The Schools are unique in the Chicago area, offering single-sex education at the elementary school level.

Students are given the "best of both worlds." They learn in a single-sex environment, with teaching styles geared to their gender. However, as soon as they leave the classroom, boys and girls engage in social interaction. They eat and play in common areas, attend field trips together, and participate in joint projects and dramatic productions together.
