What is L'Esprit?
L'Esprit de Sacré Coeur is the largest fundraiser sponsored by The Parents of the Heart to benefit Sacred Heart Schools, Sheridan Road.
The event enables the schools to continue providing numerous programs and services that make our community so welcoming, nurturing and strong.
We invite parents, alumnae/i, faculty, staff and friends of the Sacred Heart community to join us at this year's L'Esprit and help us celebrate this year's Goal IV: the building of community as a Christian value.

Goal Award
Through the inception of the Goal Award, the Schools are aiming to increase the visibility of the Goals and Criteria of Sacred Heart education in the Chicagoland area. Each year, the Goal Award will be presented to an individual, corporation or foundation which exemplifies the spirit of one of the 5 Goals of Sacred Heart education.
The essence of this educational vision and tradition is articulated in the Goals and Criteria of Sacred Heart schools:
Sacred Heart Schools commit themselves to educate to:
- a personal and active faith in God;
- a deep respect for intellectual values;
- a social awareness which impels to action;
- the building of community as a Christian value;
- personal growth in an atmosphere of wise freedom
We are pleased to announce that Inspiration Corporation is the recipient of the 2008 Sacred Heart Goal Award. By providing social services to more than 2,000 persons, the Corporation no only builds community for the homeless, but also among its legion of volunteers. We honor Inspiration Corporation for its commitment to Goal IV of Sacred Heart Education, “the building of community as a Christian value.” More on the Goal Award.
