Directions & Parking

Sacred Heart Schools overlooks Lake Michigan in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago. It is located just south of Loyola University, about five miles north of the Lincoln Park neighborhood and three miles south of Evanston.

Public Transportation

The school is served by public transportation, with bus stops at our front door (CTA routes #147 and #151) and the Granville "L" station (Red Line) 1½ blocks west.
 

School Parking Lots

Visitors to Sacred Heart may use three lots adjacent to the school.

1. The Schools' main lot is located at the corner of Granville Avenue and Kenmore Avenue. To access lot, enter the alley from Granville and head south.
2. Additional spaces are available behind (west of) the corner brownstone at 6200 N. Sheridan Road. Enter from Granville.
3. An additional school parking lot is located at 6215 N. Kenmore Avenue, immediately west of Sheridan Road. To access lot, enter from Kenmore heading north

Additional Parking

The Ismaili Center parking lot, located on the northeast corner of Broadway Avenue and Rosemont Avenue, is often a good option. Parking is available from 7:30 am to 4 pm. You must be out of the lot by 4 pm or risk being towed. If the gate is closed at the driveway, simply push it open.

Metered public parking can be found on Granville, Rosemont and other nearby streets.
