The Sacred Heart Schools campus is located on Sheridan Road, overlooking Lake Michigan in the Edgewater/Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago. Five distinct buildings, totaling nearly 145,000 square feet of instructional, meeting and office space, comprise the two-plus acre campus.

Sheridan South, a four-story classroom addition completed in the spring of 2004, totaling 33,000 square feet of air-conditioned space, connects the historic 1929 Main Building (Sheridan North) with the Campbell Gymnasium. In addition to 12 classrooms, a rooftop playground, a library and two computer labs, the wing also includes two new middle school science labs and a flexible multipurpose room in the building.

Through the generosity of the Driehaus Foundation, renovation was completed in the spring of 2010 on the historic Conway House, located at the south end of our campus. The Driehaus Center at the Conway House hosts the Schools' Institutional Advancement Department, including offices of Admissions, Communications, Development and Parent and Alumni Relations. It also serves as an event space.

Library: All Sacred Heart students regularly use our extensive library, which contains more than 14,000 volumes. 

Computer Lab: Our computer lab is for Grades 1-5. It has 20 laptop computers with flat-panel monitors. There are also ten wireless mobile labtop carts with 10-20 laptops in each cart. The school is completely wireless with 10Mbps access to the Internet with a T1 as a backup. There are interactive whiteboards; six in classrooms and a mobile unit for travel to different classes. Each (K-8) classroom has a minimum of two to three laptops for student use. Every computer has access to the school network and the Internet.

Campbell Gymnasium: The double-court gymnasium encompasses 23,000 square feet and has locker room facilities for boys and girls.

Three Outdoor Playgrounds: All students have daily recess on one of our three enclosed playgrounds, totaling 17,000-square-feet.

Art Facilities: Sacred Heart has two music labs, three art studios with a shared kiln facility and a fully equipped stage for plays and concerts.

Lunchroom: The renovated cafeteria has flexible seating for 240.

Chapel: The renovation of the Schools' original chapel was completed in the fall of 2008. This spiritual space provides a quiet place for meditation, prayer and liturgies.
