Sacred Heart Network
Sacred Heart Schools at Sheridan Road is proud to belong to the Network of Sacred Heart Schools.
Each of the 24 member schools was founded by the Society of the Sacred Heart and continues to share a deep commitment to the educational philosophy first articulated by St. Madeleine Sophie Barat and now expressed in the Goals and Criteria, the document which defines the scope and vision of Sacred Heart education in the United States and Canada.
Every Sacred Heart school feels the strength of belonging to the larger Sacred Heart community. Faculty, administrators and trustees regularly attend Network conferences where they benefit from the expertise and intellectual resources of their colleagues across the nation. Students participate in Network-wide summer programs, as well as joint service and leadership projects during the school year. Annual Network web casts and teleconferences help us celebrate our connection to one another.
The Network provides a rigorous, ongoing evaluation process for member schools. Through the Sacred Heart Commission on Goals, teams of Network educators regularly visit Sacred Heart schools to provide feedback and assistance in each school’s ongoing process of strategic planning.
Sacred Heart Network schools honored the closing of the Centenary Celebration of Janet Erskine Stuart with a network-wide telecast on October 21, hosted at Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart. Click here to view the 30-minute telecast.
Sacred Heart Schools is part of a network of 24 schools in the United States and Canada and nearly 200 schools in 40 countries worldwide.
