Michael or Mick Shanahan H'10, as he was best known at Sacred Heart Schools, has a bigger story than he lets on. The Sacred Heart alum is not only one of the top wrestlers in the state of Illinois representing St. Ignatius College Prep, but he is sharing the story of how he got to where he is now.

Betsy Stahler Fallon graduated from Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart in 1994 and went on to St. Norbert College in Wisconsin and received her Master's Degree from St. Xavier University in 2005. Betsy lives with her husband, Sean in Chicago.

The Schools welcomed more than 300 grandparents of grades K through 3 on Monday morning, May 6. Smiles were in abundance, as grandparents watched each of the grades perform a song in the gym and learded about the school's mission and goals. More...

Kate Perrine A'02 set out in March for a three month adventure to Tanzania, Africa with an organization called, Forever Angels. While in Africa, Kate spends time with orphaned and abandoned children who are infected with HIV.

We welcomed 150 alums back home to Sheridan Road over Alumni Reunion Weekend (April 19-21). Those attending spanned the Class of 1942 to just last year.

Jennifer Garrett A'92, is an author, life coach and motivational speaker with a passion for writing and helping others. Garrett's passion for helping others and love of football influenced her to author a book entitled, Move the Ball.
