Living the Mission is the Schools’ on-going major gifts program intended for those committed donors who are motivated to support the long-term sustainability of the Schools, above and beyond annual giving.
Established in honor of Sr. Susan Maxwell, Director of Schools from 1997 – 2009, gifts to Living the Mission are designated exclusively for two areas: scholarships and faculty support.
Sacred Heart families, alumni and friends are encouraged to become Sustaining Members of Living the Mission by making a pledge of $25,000 or more to be completed over five years. Sustaining Membership is in perpetuity. Members are recognized on a permanent plaque outside the chapel and are celebrated at the annual Living the Mission dinner each May.
The Schools are deeply grateful to these exceptionally generous donors whose support is essential to the sustainability of Sacred Heart education in Chicago.
The Annual Living the Mission Dinner to celebrate the extraordinary commitment of our Sustaining Members will be held May 25, 2011 . |
