The 54th Annual Angel Brunch, the culminating send-off for the Class of 2012, was held June 10 in the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton on Michigan Avenue.
From the stirring flag ceremony, in which Hardey grads presented flags representing countries with Sacred Heart Schools, to the presentation of the Alumni passports, the internationality of SHS was featured.
Keynote speaker Sr. Carol Haggarty, RSCJ, reminded the SHS community of the mission of Sophie Barat. She exhorted the grads and their parents to "Remember, we cannot sell or throw away a Sacred Heart education. You live it. Let us go forth and live the values of the Sacred Heart."
