Lia Neal of Convent of the Sacred Heart school in Manhattan wins Olympic Bronze Medal
Congrats to Lia Neal, an 11th-grade student at the Convent of the Sacred Heart school in Manhattan (91st St), who helped her 4X100-meter freestyle relay team take home the bronze!
Swimming the third leg of the relay, Neal pushed the USA to a time of 3 minutes 34.24 seconds, finishing behind Australia (3:33.15) and the Netherlands (3:33.79).
“Everything was just so beyond my expectations,” Neal said.
