Piano Lessons

Upcoming Piano Recital – March 22, 2015

Have you ever wondered about your child studying the Suzuki Piano Method? How children actually play? How their musical skills develop overtime? Please join us for a special presentation by students of the SHS Suzuki Pianos class on Sunday, March 22 at 3:00 p.m to see and hear firsthand the beauty of music learning from an early age. Camille Witos, who teaches the After School class, will be joined by guest artist, Paula Kosower, for a performance of collaborative cello and piano works.  For more information, contact Camille at cwitos@msn.com.

Paula Kosower is an active performer and teacher currently residing in Chicago. Recent performances include concerts with Fulcrum Point New Music Project, CUBE Contemporary Ensemble, the International Beethoven Project Chamber Players, and for the Art Institute of Chicago and the Chicago Cultural Center.  She has also performed for several broadcasts on WFMT 98.7 and frequently serves as a cello substitute for both the Chicago Symphony, Lyric Opera, and the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestras. Ms. Kosower teaches cello pedagogy at Northwestern University and teaches private lessons at the Northwestern University Music Academy.  She also recently joined the faculty at North Park University. She is a member of the Boulanger Ensemble and has performed concerts for the North Shore MTA, MTNA conference, and the Fourth Presbyterian noon time concert series. Ms. Kosower received her B.M. and M.M. degree at Indiana University where she was a scholarship student of Janos Starker.
