Guitar (Beginning & Intermediate)

Randi Russo, Instructor, offers private guitar lessons to beginner through intermediate levels. Beginners will learn the essential open chords and basic strumming patterns, as well as note-reading to build a foundation for music. Intermediate will elevate their guitar playing by learning barre chords, basic lead guitar techniques, continued note-reading, tablature, fingerstyle guitar, creative songwriting and more. No matter what level, the students will acquire new skills and techniques by learning songs they love, with focus on rock/pop/folk songs.

Students will need their own guitar.

Private Piano Lessons (Suzuki Method) are offered weekly to students in grades K-8 from 3:30-5:45 pm. Lessons are taught by Mrs. Witos, a faculty member of the Music Institute of Chicago.

Note: The Suzuki Method of teaching requires a parent to be present at the child's lessons and receive training as a practice partner to the child.

Watch one of our beginner students perform!

Private Voice Lessons, taught by Mr. Justin Nixon, Mddle School Music Teacher, are offered weekly (Wednesdays & Thursdays) to students grades K-5. Students meet for 30 minutes between 3:30-6 p.m.
