Go to the public website, emergencyclosings.com, and do a status search for our school by typing in “Sacred Heart Schools” and “Chicago” or by typing in our main phone number (773-262-4446).
Call 847-238-1234 from a touch-tone phone and enter the main phone number of our school.
Receive an e-mail notification of a change made to our facility by signing up on the website: emergencyclosings.com.
Listen to WGN Radio 720-AM, WBBM Radio 780-AM
Watch CBS Channel 2, NBC Channel 5, ABC Channel 7, FOX 32, WGN-TV or CLTV cable for closing information.
You may also call the school switchboard
(773-262-4446) to listen to the message on the tape.
CAUTION: If you are uncertain whether or not school will be open, please wait until you find out for sure. For the safety of the children, we do not want them to come to school and be dropped off if the school has been closed and there is no one present on campus.
If during inclement weather your individual situation warrants, please feel free to either keep your child home from school or pick him/her up early. In these situations, absences will, of course, be excused. Unless it is otherwise posted, school buses will run according to their regular schedule.
