Tuition & Fees
Sacred Heart's tuition and fees for the 2017-18 academic year
Tuition, Grades K-8
Activity Fee, Grades K-8
The Activity Fee covers the cost of the Before and After School Care Program, Sacred Heart Yearbook, Parents of the Heart Fee, local field trips, participation in interscholastic athletics, and selected extracurricular arts activities, including Liturgical Choir and the school play.
The following is a schedule of additional grade level fees a Sacred Heart family can expect during the 2017-2018 school year:
- 6th Grade Ropes Retreat (approximate cost): $150
- 7th Grade Space Academy (approximate cost): $1,026
- 8th Grade Washington, D.C Trip (approximate cost): $1,330
- 8th Grade Graduation Fee: $100
Approximately 20% of Sacred Heart students receive tuition assistance. Based on demonstrated need, tuition assistance awards are granted up to 95% of tuition and fees. In the 2016-2017 academic year, Sacred Heart granted approximately $1.8M in tuition assistance awards.
The tuition assistance program helps make Sacred Heart education accessible to students from all backgrounds, regardless of their financial means. Awards are made to qualifying students at all grade levels and are decided on the basis of need and the availability of funds. Awards are for one year and, although recipients must reapply each year, returning students are given first priority for funds. Future awards also assume the students remain in good financial, academic, and behavior standing and continue to demonstrate financial need.
If you are allocated tuition assistance, you will be able to apply for additional financial support for certain expenses over and above tuition ( e.g., Specialized After School Classes). This additional financial assistance would not, however, cover the costs of transportation, uniforms, supplies, school lunches or certain other miscellaneous expenses.
Sacred Heart Schools admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
