"Wherever you go, whatever road you may travel, Class of ASH 1959
ALUMNI WEEKEND 2019 - IN THE BOOKS! On October 18-20, the Sheridan Road halls were once again filled with alumnae/i from the classes 1946 through 2013. Sacred Heart was blessed to have so many alums return from near and far to celebrate their friendships, memories, and time on Sheridan Road. From Friday's cocktail reception and Saturday's classes, to Sunday's liturgy and brunch, a sense of joy and nostalgia swept over our campus.
Sacred Heart would like to thank all alumnae/i who attended the events, the Sheridan Road Alumni Association ("SRAA") Board members, who gave their time and energy, and all faculty and staff (past and present) who made the weekend a success. See you in 2020! SRAA Bike Drive On October 26, the SRAA held its second annual Bike Drive for Working Bikes. Despite hours of rain, SRAA Board members and 8th grade Alumni Ambassadors worked together to collect donations from generous alums, current families, and friends of the school. In total, the Bike Drive provided Working Bikes with about 40 bicycles of all shapes and sizes. Working Bikes will distribute them to those in need, both in the Chicago area and overseas.
Parents of Alumni Holiday Party How many good friends did you make as a parent at Sacred Heart? When was the last time you saw them? Plan on coming to the Driehaus Center on December 10 to rekindle those friendships; former faculty and staff will also be there to celebrate the holiday season. This wonderful evening will be hosted by Michael and Laurie Bish (A'09, A'11, A'14, H'14, H'18), Michael and Kristie Edwards (H'11, A'12, H'15), Ron and Maureen Sippel (H'04, A'08). RSVP by December 6 to Ann Chiumino.
Alumni Holiday Concert - December 17 Are you an alum who loves to sing/dance/perform? Or do you just want to be an audience member?
