We will be celebrating double milestone reunion years, ending in 0 and 5, and 1 and 6, presenting Sr. Catherine I. Seiker, RSCJ Awards, and the Sr. Carol A. Haggarty, RSCJ ASH'59 Leadership Award, as well as many other activities. We look forward to seeing you there!

Welcome back, Meg Steele, Head of Schools Sacred Heart Schools - Sheridan Road is happy to welcome back Meg Steele as our new Head of Schools. Ms. Steele spent 18 years on Sheridan Road, as a teacher and then as Primary School Head. She then served as Head of School at Woodlands Academy (another Sacred Heart network school in Lake Forest, IL) for six years. Her passion and love for a Sacred Heart education shows through in her collaborative leadership style, and she relates most to Goal IV, the building of community. We look forward to Ms. Steele being part of our Sheridan Road community once again. Sr. Catherine I. Seiker, RSCJ Award - 2021 We are happy to announce the 2021 Sr. Catherine I. Seiker Award recipient, Joey Yao H'86. Mr. Yao has been an dedicated Hardey alum, serving as the Sheridan Road Alumni Association Board President, was on the Board of Trustees from 2015-2021, and in numerous other capacities. He has also been an active volunteer in the Middle School Science Olympiad program. We look forward to honoring him on Alumni Weekend after the Reunion Liturgy on October 17, 2021, when we will also be honoring last year's Seiker recipient, Gladys Saavedra Davis ASH'70. ![]() Class Representatives Would you like to get involved with SRAA but are unable to commit to being a Board member? Sheridan Road Alumni Association - New Officers ![]() The Sheridan Road Alumni Association is pleased to announce that Joan Merlo ASH'72 will be the Board President for this term. Ms. Merlo has been an active member of the SRAA since 2013, volunteering at Alumni Weekend, assisting with service projects, and attending alumni events. She loves the energy and community aspect of the Board, whose members have a shared history of having attended Sacred Heart. Under her leadership, the SRAA looks forward to expanding the Board to a national level, utilizing Zoom to engage alums around the country who normally would not be able to participate in SRAA meetings.

The Sheridan Road Alumni Association is also happy to share that Brad Gutzler H'94 will be the Vice President this term, transitioning to President in 2023. Brad has been a part of the SRAA since 2019, volunteering his time and talent to the Annual Fund Council, the Working Bikes drive, and as a speaker at this past year's Hardey graduation.
Alumnus Volunteers Time at Sacred Heart Camp During Sacred Heart Summer Camp, we welcomed back Drew F. H'18 to Sheridan Road. Drew led the campers in a project to write notes and letters to residents of nursing homes and hospitals. He then delivered the hand-written correspondence to facilities.

Sacred Heart Coaching Opportunities Calling all Alumni Falcons and Wildcats – Are you interested in giving back to SHS, dusting off those gym shoes with our students in a fun way, all while earning some extra money?
