Sacred Heart Schools' Alumni Weekend 2021
Together Again on Sheridan Road
Friday, October 15 - Sunday, October 17
Hard to believe, but Alumni Weekend is nearly here! We know you are coming, but we need to know how many nametags to print and how many bottles of water to order! Register today for our cocktail reception, favorite alumni classes, and Sunday's liturgy and brunch.

Sacred Heart Staff Update
After three and a half years in Alumni Relations, Ann Chiumino is transitioning into a new position at Sacred Heart – Admissions Director! Ms. Chiumino will miss working closely with our wonderful alumni community but looks forward to leading the Admissions Team.

Bike Drive
Thank you to everyone who participated, we once again provided Working Bikes with a truckload of donations!
The Association of the Alumnae/I of the Sacred Heart publishes a biannual magazine, "Esprit de Coeur." The digital version can be found here, including an article by Ann Chiumino, former Assistant Director of Development, Alumni Relations, about her kidney donation to a Sacred Heart student.
Diana Mejia A'18, a senior at Josephinum Academy of the Sacred Heart, was awarded a $20,000 college scholarship from Cubs Scholars, a Cubs Charities Program that will provide her with $5,000 in each year of her four college years. Congratulations, Diana!
Caitlin Mooney A'18, a senior at Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart, has been named a National Merit Commended Scholar! These students placed among the top 4% of all students nationwide who took the 2020 PSAT exam. Congratulations, Caitlin!

Volunteer Opportunities
There are many opportunities to get involved with Sacred Heart throughout the year. From Alumni events to presentations, working on a planning committee, lending your name as a host committee member, or assisting at the events. If you would like to volunteer as a class representative or for an Alumni event, or serve on the Alumni Board, please email alumni@shschicago.org.

Sacred Heart Schools was blessed with a committed faculty and staff working hard to educate students both in person and remotely last year. Do you know or are you a prospective Sacred Heart parent? Zoom into an hour-long program with our Head of Schools, the Director of Curriculum and Instruction and current parents. Each session begins with presentations of the Sacred Heart Network, mission and educational philosophy, and concludes with a question and answer session.
