All month long, students, parents and educators will celebrate the many ways in which Sheridan Road is a place with heart. Be sure to check out our Instagram and Facebook accounts to hear from various members of our community about the significance of Sacred Heart in their lives. The month will conclude with a Sacred Heart family service day at Cradles to Crayons. Whether it has been five months, five years, or 50 years since you've been on Sheridan Road, know you are always a part of Sacred Heart! A Valentine's Day Gift from Head of Schools Meg Steele Long before she was Head of Schools, Meg Steele served as a primary school teacher and the Primary School Division Head. With her love for children's literature, current families have received videos of Meg reading some of her favorite books. From Halloween to Dia De Los Muertos, to the first snowfall, to Christmas, and now in anticipation of Valentine's Day, please enjoy her reading of "Heartprints" by P.K. Hallinan. You can become involved as a Class Representative, serving as the liaison to your classmates, helping the school to update our contact information, and soliciting news to share via AlumE-News or Heartbeat. Sheridan Road is seeking an Assistant Development Director, Alumni Relations to support the school's alumni relations efforts. Seiker and Haggarty Award Nominations Every year during Alumni Weekend, the Sheridan Road Alumni Association (SRAA) presents the Sr. Catherine I. Seiker, RSCJ Award. The Seiker Award is given to an RSCJ, Sheridan Road alumna/us, or alumni from any Sacred Heart Network school whose life exemplifies, to an extraordinary degree, the values and standards that Sacred Heart Schools represents. Nominations are currently being accepted for the 2022 Sr. Catherine I. Seiker, RSCJ Award.
