Sponsored by the Office of Educational Initiatives Leadership, the Sacred Heart Internship Program (SHIP) is a six-week social justice internship program for young adults 18 years old or older in Westchester County, NY. The program runs from May 16-June 17.
The student body assembled on Feb. 18 to mark the beginning of the Lenten season with an all-school mass. The celebrant, Fr. Manuel Dorantes, presided over the distribution of the ashes to the assembly.
Congé, a surprise fun day filled with games and activities, was announced to a delighted student body on Wednesday, February 11! This year's "the magic of the movies" theme saw Academy fashion shows, theatre performances and workshops, stunt men demonstrations and much more!
"Chicago's number 1!" First graders celebrated the Windy City with the Annual Chicago Pride Day Parade on Feb. 6. Students dressed in their favorite Chicago gear (from Blackhawks jerseys to "I love Chicago" T-shirts) and paraded around the hallways of SHS.
