Welcome
No matter how much time has passed, you are always welcome here. Come visit your old classrooms and playgrounds and talk to faculty and staff.
Every person who attended Sacred Heart Schools on Sheridan Road - regardless of graduation status - is considered a member of the Sheridan Road Alumni Association (SRAA).
Membership is also open to anyone living in the Chicago area who attended any of the schools in the Sacred Heart Network.
The goals of the SRAA are:
- To strengthen ties between graduates and former students of the Academy for Girls, Hardey Preparatory for Boys, and the Academy of the Sacred Heart/Convent of the Sacred Heart High School.
- To strengthen ties between alumni and current students and families.
- To offer activities, programs, and services for alumni which advance and promote the Goals and Criteria for Sacred Heart Schools.

Working Bikes Drive
For the third year in a row, the SRAA hosted a bike drive in partnership with Working Bikes, a nonprofit organization that gives used bikes to those in need. Working Bikes annually ships over 6,000 bikes to Africa and Central America, and fixes over 1,000 bicycles for individuals and organizations in Chicago.
Over the last three years, Sheridan Road alumni, parents of alumni, current families, and faculty/staff collected over 200 bicycles and countless parts and accessories.
