Portrait of a Sacred Heart Graduate
What values and characteristics define the young women and men who graduate from Sacred Heart Schools on Sheridan Road? The majority of students attend our school for nine years, a period when considerable intellectual, moral and personal growth occurs. In the words of Sr. Janet Erskine Stuart, RSCJ: "Our education is not meant to turn the children out small and finished, but seriously begun on a wide-basis. Therefore they must leave us with some self-knowledge, some energy, some purpose ..."
The updated "Portrait of a Graduate" provides students and their parents further illumination of the values inherent in Sacred Heart's mission and vision. The graduates of the Class of 2018 (above) are pictured wearing their high school t-shirts.
