Events

Fall Gathering
A casual evening of friendraising and fun, featuring food trucks, craft beer and more.

L’Esprit de Sacré Coeur or Quiz Night
Sacred Heart Schools’ annual fundraising event toggles every other year between a gala fundraiser, L’Esprit de Sacré Coeur, and Quiz Night, our casual and fun team trivia contest.

International Night
This all-school family event celebrates the rich diversity of SHS and transforms the gym into a festive community square filled with the wonderful foods of our collective heritage.

Justice Day and Evening
On Justice Day, students and faculty take the day off from their regular routine to spend the day learning about social justice issues through age-appropriate activities. While Justice Day is for students, Justice Evening is an opportunity for parents to participate in an activity or presentation on the year’s chosen topic and start a dialogue with their children.

Faculty/Staff Appreciation Breakfast & Dinner
This annual holiday event allows parents to express their gratitude to teachers, administrators and staff. For the breakfast, faculty and staff enjoy a special meal with holiday cheer and surprise gifts. At night an intimate dinner celebrates the night-time staff members.

Grandparents' Visit
Every other year, we welcome grandparents of kindergarten through 3rd grade to the SHS campus to visit the classrooms and enjoy activities and presentations.

Fine Arts Events
Each year, the members of the Fine Arts Committee create a schedule of activities that feature and celebrate the Arts at Sacred Heart and around the city of Chicago.

Community Service Projects
From days of service to assisting students’ efforts to support service partners, there are many opportunities to get involved and support our local community.
