Meet Jennifer Przybylo A'99
Sacred Heart gave me values that I carried through high school. The five Goals stuck with me. The friendships I made there taught me what a great friendship is all about. And having a relationship with God stuck with me and gave me the tools to continue with my faith.
That all the teachers help and care for you, and that it is an easy place to make a lot of friends. You get a wonderful education.
I liked the all-girls classes and I think I learned more with girls.
The Goals are really still a part of my life and especially Goal III and Goal V. Goal III really taught me to think about my place in the world and how to make an impact. I want to help individual people and the community as a whole. Goal V is about knowing yourself and always trying to advance your own wisdom—trying to make yourself a better person and cultivate yourself to be the best person you can be.
One word that I would use to describe what Sacred Heart means to me is “Independence.” I am self-sufficient in terms of finding my own path, my own way of learning, and how to be my best self as a learner. Also, I have always felt welcome here. Never alone.
Being a Sacred Heart student means being a good person; being a friendly person. These two things are something that they really teach here. We are given constant chances to get better, be better, correct mistakes, and learn important values.
