Seiker Award
2025 Seiker Award Recipient: Peter Wall H'85

Peter Wall H'85 exemplifies the Sacred Heart mission to connect, serve, and lead, as well as the lifelong pursuit of learning.
He was active on the Sheridan Road Alumni Association board for ten years, from 2011-2021, supporting reunions, games, charitable events, receptions and liturgies. As an alumni division representative on Sacred Heart's Masterpiece Campaign, he helped to raise $9.8 million for campus improvements and tuition assistance. He was a Trustee from 2019-2025, serving on the Development, Audit and Risk Management, and Strategic Planning Committees.
After graduating from Hardey Prep and receiving the Hardey Award, Peter attended St. Ignatius College Prep, graduating with highest honors. He went on to earn a B.A. with highest honors (Bronze Tablet) from the University of Illinois, a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law and an L.L.M. in Real Estate Law with highest honors from The John Marshall Law School.
He has excelled in a 25-year career in real estate and corporate law and real estate investing. He is responsible for underwriting, structuring, negotiating, documenting, closing and managing corporate investments, real estate loans, projects and developments.
He looks forward to accepting the Seiker Award during Alumni Weekend on behalf of the entire Wall family. His mother Laura Dart Wall ASH’64, brothers Jack H’89 and Jim H’95, daughter Elizabeth A’24, son Peter H8, and wife Emily, all have a deep passion for Sacred Heart Schools and love it dearly.
Peter is grateful to have had the opportunity to attend Sacred Heart. “My grandparents and parents were active in the school community and expressed to my brothers and me the importance of supporting this exceptional Institution. They inspired Emily and me to become more involved here. Emily has devoted countless hours of service.”
Peter and Emily feel they received far greater benefits than they provided in return. They are amazed at how the school has evolved, adapted, and expanded over the last half-century. It is a true testament to the Religious of the Sacred Heart, the administrators, and faculty and staff.
